2月19日，江西铜钹山国家级自然保护区在与井冈山大学蜘蛛生物学研究团队的合作调查中，发现了一种蜘蛛新物种，科研团队将其取名为铜钹山奥塔蛛。On February 19th, a cooperative survey conducted with the Spider Biology Research Team from Jinggangshan University led to the discovery of a new spider species in the Tongboshan National Nature Reserve in Jiangxi. The research team named the species Otacilia tongboshan sp. nov.

该物种是中国中部省份江西发现的第34种奥塔蛛属物种，在保护区内分布广泛，系该地区广布蜘蛛类群。该物种的发现，不仅增加了世界蜘蛛种类的数量，也为深入研究铜钹山国家级自然保护区的生物多样性提供了重要线索。This marks the 34th species of the genus Otacilia Thorell identified in Jiangxi, a central province of China. The new species is widely distributed throughout the reserve and is part of a larger group of spiders common to the area. The identification of this species not only adds to the global diversity of spider species but also provides valuable insights for further research on the biodiversity of Tongboshan National Nature Reserve.
